What do you think of the new Doctor

Finally after months of waiting, the new series of Doctor Who has begun to air on the BBC. The new Doctor is older than some of his recent incarnations (except, of course, John Hurt as the War Doctor) and represents a different direction for the Doctor and his current companion, Clara.

What did you think of the new episode, and do you like Peter Capaldi's portrayal of the character, and the new direction of the show?
