Have you ever used the Request option on Netflix

I recently read an article that claimed to share all the secrets to the Netflix interface. Most of it was honestly pretty basic, but I did learn one cool thing: Netflix has a page where subscribers can request movies and TV shows they would like to have added to the service. Has anyone ever used the request feature? Did any of your requests get added to Netflix?
