Do you think Adventure Time is suitable for kids

There is some debate on this issue. My family love Adventure Time and I have no problem with my teens and 8 year old viewing the show.

However, I have some friends which deem the cartoon to be inappropriate for their children.

What do you think: is Adventure Time suitable for kids?
