It was recently announced that another iconic 90's show Twin Peaks is to return to television.

The X-Files were last seen in 2008's film "I Want To Believe." Would you welcome a return or remake of the show, or greet it with hostility?

I sure would, but this time....a little more to the endings.
No leaving things slightly up in the air?

It can have new actors...that's fine because the series were quite interesting.
New actors as in new characters, or new actors taking on Mulder and Scully's role? The second would be sacrilege.
Although David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have said in the past that they are happy to do another film, I highly doubt that they would want to go back to doing a TV series when they have moved past that now, and broken free from everyone seeing them and purely Mulder and Scully. I for one am enjoying seeing Gillian Anderson in different roles now. For that reason, I wouldn't want it to return as a TV series.
I would love to see the X-files return but with new actors and new characters. There is a lot of awesome scripted TV out right now, but not much of it seems to be sci-fi. An X-files reboot could easily fill that niche.
Every thing has its day - I loved the X-files but it wouldn't be the same bringing it back as in most shows. However another movie would be okay as long it was a very good script and did resolve things and not leave things up in the air for more sequals.
