Television commercials can often be very creative, and some of the best ones are extremely quirky and humorous. Better still, while only a few highly-trained actors get to appear in television shows, random members of the public often have the opportunity to take part in the advertisements that punctuate them.
Have you ever been in a television commercial, and if not, would you like to be? What do you have to do if you'd like to take part in one, and what sort of people are advertising agencies usually looking for?

For me it depends on the commercial, I think it would be fun to be an actor in a commercial, but I wouldn't want to be one of those 'approached on the streets' random test people that some commercials have.
I think it would be kind of fun, and the pay is apparently very good. However, it would depend on what was being advertised as I wouldn't want to promote anything that I don't agree with...no matter how much was being paid. Apparently advertising agencies are always looking for new faces, and they're interested in signing up people of all ages, ethnic groups, sizes and backgrounds.
