Piracy is coming!

The first four episodes of Game of Thrones series five have leaked to the internet.

HBO is yet to make a comment on this breach, but it is understood that the episodes are watermarked screener copies which have been released to the public by a reviewer.

It is said there have been an average of 100,000 of the episodes downloaded every three hours.

How do you feel about the rise of piracy, in regards to Game of Thrones? Do you avoid the internet for fear of spoilers?

I have never seen the show but now I am interested. I do not download movies or TV shows from pirates online. They are usually virus ridden. Moreover, the producers put a lot of money into making the show and need to be reimbursed for their efforts. Piracy robs these people of their just reward for their work.

I don't watch the show anyway, but if I did, I would wait until its official air date. Piracy is awful and damages the film/tv business, meaning that in the end audiences suffer the consequences as well.
Game of Thrones is not the only one that has made its way to the internet. Not sure I will watch 5 because I haven't had time to watch 3 and 4. However, there are some that will!
