If you could invite a character or characters from television to a dinner party, who would they be? Why? Would they b from the same series or a mismatch?

I would have to pick someone based on how amicable and well behaved they would be around a dinner table. Also it would need to be someone who doesn't have too high an expectation about what they are going to get. Perhaps Tom and Barbra from The Good Life.
That is a hard one to pick just one but I would perhaps invite and main lady from A Place to Call Home, or perhaps the Good Wife.

Oh, these are both women -LOLI MUST be getting old!

Noni Hazlehurst is just ONE of our best actresses!

Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek The Next Generation. Every day, every meal.
Now why didn't I think of that? Great choice.
This is a difficult one, probably Chandler from Friends. He makes me laugh so hard!

Shelton Cooper from BIG BANG THEORY.
It is Seldon not Shelton. I totally love Sheldon, but he would be the absolute most annoying guest. :)

Now my bad - I said Seldon instead of Sheldon sorry and yes I was probably just correcting a typo like mine - sorry for being so pedantic - like Sheldon.

Sabrina from Sabrina the Teenage Witch because she "magic" up some food rather than have me slave over a hot oven all day. Plus, I think our cats would get along.
That's a character I haven't heard about in a long time.
Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods. Just about everything he eats taste good to him so even if my cooking is bad he'll still eat

Richard Castle for class perhaps, or Nina Proudman (although she'd be distracted all the while, for sure). But Harvey Specter or Donna Paulsen from Suits, would be heaps of fun. Mind you, Karen from Outnumbered would be insane as a dinner guest! I like Tom and Barbra from The Good Life too as well as Wilberforce Claybourne Humphries or Mr Humphries from Are you being Served?

Probably Richard Castle, because he's smooth. Or JD from Scrubs, because he's hilarious.
Easy all 4 of the Seinfeld main cast!
If only one, that would be Charlton Heston from 'The Colby's'!

If more, would add....
William Petersen (CSI)
Tom Selleck (Blue Bloods)
John Thaw (Inspector Morse)
Dame Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey)
Dame Helen Mirren (Prime Suspect)
Prof Brian Cox (Wonders of the Universe)
Prof Neil Oliver (Coast)

What interesting discussions all THOSE minds would make!

I'd be just so happy with this, but alas! unachievable, but nice to dream!

Don Diamont ( Bill Spencer)and Catherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) from The Bold and the Beautiful, because they are both having the courage to do not give up on what they want and what keep their life going and most of all they are strong.
