Hyacinth Bucket from Keeping Up Appearances and Margo Leadbetter from The Good Life are two social-climbing snobs. Could you imagine the scenario if they and the other characters from these sitcoms met?

I could just imagine it. Hyacinth would be joining Margo's drama society and inviting everyone to a candlelight supper. Richard would be enjoying the company of Tom in the garden. Rose would start doing some manual work in the garden, and every time she bent down, he skirt would ride up above her knickers. Hyacinth would be mortified, try to cover her up, and end up getting chased by pigs, chickens, and the goat!
Just love those shows so much :)

I think they would do very well together as friends.

They think in the same vein, so it would be perfect. My fav is Hyacinth, she is so much how my mother was years ago...but not as full on.
Pity they never married-up the two shows, now and then as a spin off.
Would have been so good. :)
I think even Margo might find Hyacinth too much - she'd probably consider 'fake' high class. I would just love to see the two shows cross over; it would be so funny.
Makes you wonder 'why' they never did?
