What is you favourite crime drama?

There is nothing like a good mystery. The genre is ever evolving. Networks are constantly copying each other to reach viewers, so there is never a shortage of new crime drama to check out. Some have also stood the test of time, like NCIS, Bones and Castle. Which one is your favourite?

NCIS,

Nothing can beat The X-Files. I mean, who else can say that their suspect is a giant blood sucking worm or a vampire, or liver eating mutant?
I'd never thought of it as a crime drama. More a sci fi show.
It can be both at the same time.
Probably NCIS Los Angeles at the moment.
Dalziel and Pascoe. The characters are fantastic, much more the focus of the show than the crime. I mainly prefer English crime dramas to the American ones.
The original NCIS is the only one I really watch. Half the time I just get hooked on the repeats - once I've seen a little of the episode, I just have to watch the rest.
It's a tie between NCIS and Elementary.
Law & order - any of them. Especially when they do something that's just been in the papers!
The new series " The Blacklist" would have to be my favourite. There is nothing else quite like it.
My favourite of all time was Mortimer's Law, but, alas, there were only about half a dozen episodes made. I thought it was outstanding. After that, once upon a time I really enjoyed The Bill. The best crime show which is on now is definitely 48 Hours, but I guess its more of a doco as the crime scenes are really just re-enactments. Cheers, Lisette
Broadchurch, and the new series starts on ABC soon. Happy Valley was a great series, violent, but to me,'real people'. Hurray. another series coming,
and I liked Jack Irish, oz. made. Me, don't watch american crime, always predictable imo, altho HBO was a exception.!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and I thought the Danish version of the Killing was just THE best, and cant wait for the Danish The Bridge to start again. Time to turn the tele. back on I think.
Any of the ones from the UK! My husband & youngest daughter did love watching The X-Files while she still lived at home, many moons ago now! I must have watched every episode of The Bill, & Iíve seen 105 episodes of Midsomer Muders, & thatís not counting the repeats Iíve watched by mistake!! Shows like, NCIS have the ads, which I detest
