The BBC has adapted D.H. Lawrence's scandalous novel, Lady Chattlery's Lover into a TV film. it aired on the 6th September. Did you watch it? What did you think? If you have read the novel, how does it compare?

I have not read the book, but I thought the BBC adaptation was very good. It had me feeling both sympathy and contempt for all the characters involved. I know there is meant to be a fair amount of obscene language and pornographic scenes in the book, but the BBC toned it down significantly, which I much prefer.
Hasn't aired here yet! So can't comment!
Update:
Is screening 2016.
