I love watching investigative journalistic pieces. Sometime it seems that these journalists are putting their lives at risk to bring us the news. It is really admirable what they do. Do you love watching investigative journalism stories?

I think the era of internet news has made this kind of journalism a dying breed. So many channels don't invest in proper invesgiative journalism any more, but instead just regurgitate stuff from other websites.
I really like some of it but others, I do not.
I am sick of Four Corners and do not often watch these however I love Louis Thereux and Seborn Bradly...Seborn (sp?) is Australian and the show is Head First and he is great, as is Louis Theroux

I'm not sure what you mean by this term. Don't all journalist have to investigate to find a story?
lol...not really.

Not worth putting your life on the line for. It's 'old' news within 24 hours or less. The world won't stop spinning if there's no up to the minute news.

I consider Peter Greste a VERY lucky man.
I am so grateful for the internet. I live in South Aus., l Murdoch paper - so little investigative journalism. I think Sarah Henderson on 7.30 was the last person tthat could claim this title... I often read The Conversation, which isn't really from journalists, (with the exception of Michelle Grattan), but academics, I've learned a lot of verious information. .. but then do we really know it all, I think Mark Twain once said, if you dont read a newspaper you're uninformed, if you read them, you're misinformed. Its all a puzzle really. I like SBS atm.
