Upstart Crow is a British sitcom based on the life of William Shakespeare. It first aired on BBC2 and has been streaming on iView in Australia. Comedian David Mitchell plays Shakespeare, whose family and friends heckle him constantly on his writing. It reminds me very much of the historical comedy Blackadder, starring Rowan Atkinson.
