It's always a long wait between seasons for Sherlock fans.

Do you think the quality would suffer if they produced longer seasons with shorter episodes, or do you like three movie length episodes coming out every couple of years instead?

As much as I would like to see more of this series it would be shame if the quality was in anyway diminished. So I will wait.
I think it is just about the right length now. I get fed up when the series gets too long, but I couldn't put up with a feature length episode either.
I love the movie length episodes but also get impatient for the next season! :)
Quantity definitely - a lot of bad programmes is awful. Granted I'm not a huge fan, but quantity matters to me and I prefer a few episodes that leave me gripped than too many which bore me.
I think the length is just right. I would not like to see these complex stories crammed into a shorter time frame. Doctor Who, which is made by the same team, suffers from the episodes being too short in my opinion. It can lead to plot holes and rushed endings. It is a pity there are so few episodes of Sherlock, but I understand the need for producing a quality series within budget.
