Search Party is a black comedy that first aired in the US in 2016. The first season is currently available for streaming in Australia via SBS On Demand. It's about a twenty-something woman named Dory, who hears that Chantal, a girl she went to college with, has gone missing. The disappearance makes Dory wonder whether anyone would care if something was to happen to her, so she sets out, with the reluctant help of her friends, to find Chantal.

I've never heard of Search Party before now, but I checked out a trailer after this reading this question and it looks both awkward and good. Black comedy is definitely in the realm of shows I dig, it just depends on how awkward the awkward gets.
I've only seen the first two episodes but I'm quite enjoying it so far.
