A very gripping show, one of my favourites. Have you watched all the seasons of The Mentalist?

Very smart script, different...and it keeps you watching.
I found the story moving, what happened to his family and how he try's to get from day to day...looking for Red John.
I like the show, it's quite interesting.

I love his mischievous antics in between cases

I've never watched The Mentalist. Is it that show about a detective who solves crimes through psychology?
The protagonist was a con man using so called psychic powers. He faces a tragedy and then leaves that profession to help the bureau solve crime cases. He has a keen sense of observation and tact of talking to people which helps crack cases

Thanks, Smita.
I'm currently watching Season 4. Just love this series.

I just love the show. Such clever scripting and Simon Baker is definitely easy to watch.

I'm not sure what happened though here in Brisbane. It seemed the new series on lasted for about 4 episodes and then it stopped.
I only ever watched it once on a plane, and I have to say I wasn't very taken with it....but you all seem to love it. Maybe I should revisit it...
We started watching this and my older daughter loves it; but it's now on all the time; being selective with my watching, and with lots of other good shows having arrived, I rather lost interest in this one. Kind of found him a bit too smart, the red john thing likewise running through many other shows/cut to Moriarty on Elwmentary. The cup of tea thing's cute, but it's probably arisen due to the fact that Americans think Australians ate the same as the British and should be cliche like that. Really ended up not being inventive enough, for me. Would watch it sometimes though if my daughter was only pretty much. c&c
