If you're a fan of TV dramas that interlace science and crime with a bit of true story inspiration thrown in for good measure, then new TV series, Scorpion, might be just what you're looking for.

Based (loosely) on the life of Walter O'Brien, an Irish genius with the 4th highest IQ ever measured, Scorpion is based on O'Brien's company of the same name, that specialises in global security. Whilst there's already debate on what's real and what's fiction, put that to one side, and from the first few episodes, there's certainly enough to grab the viewer and get them intrigued in the action and the solving of crimes that really do require the touch of a genius.

Will you be watching, or have you already tuned in? What's your verdict?

It does sound quite good however I will probably not watch it as am very sick of crime shows and stopped watching them about 6 months ago.

It is a real shame that if something takes off on TV that they have to produce it and others similar en mass. Prime example of this is CSI and similar.

The only ones I would still watch are English Ones mainly on Channel 2

No. I agree it sounds interesting, but it looks so pumped and unrealistic. Apparently it's not enough to be a genius, you have to be an action hero too.

It certainly sounds intriguing, but I probably won't bother watching it as I'm not really into crime drama.
We have been watching and my son likes it very much.
Having said that....it is mainly for young audience I would say people early twenties.Just the tiny tiny over acting from the main star playing Walter O'Brien.
Plus the other members, I have to say.Not sure how much longer I shall watch it, maybe to keep my son happy.
We both have now stopped watching, the acting is just awwwful :(

I saw an ad for it and decided it might be more suited for my teenager than me.
