I've met lots of tv stars because I regularly go to conventions to get their autographs. I've met actors from shows such as Star Trek, The X-Files, Stargate, etc. I am quite shy, so although I saw hello, and maybe have a small word, I don't usually engage in conversation with them. It is a great experience all the same.
Yeah, a couple. When I worked in restaurants we had a couple of people I'd seen on tv come in for meals. I met Matthew Macfadyen from Spooks, which was thrilling for me though none of the other staff even knew who he was. I didn't say anything, apart from taking his order. We also had Robert Llewellyn from Red Dwarf, which was very cool since I'm a sci fi fan, but I was forbidden to go all fangirl at him. I also met Virginia Hey (Zaan from Farscape) at a fan event. She was lovely. Very classy.
