A drug that could expand your mind, making you smarter than you eve thought possible. Itís an enticing thought, and a great premise for a TV show. Limitless is based on Alan Glynnís debut novel The Dark Fields and corresponding movie also titled Limitless. The TV version of Limitless is a kind of mash-up of science fiction and police procedural. Hereís the trailer for the series:
You probably recognize Dexterís Jennifer Carpenter playing one of lead roles and Jake McDorman from dramatic comedies like Greek and Shameless.

Limitless is great! It's been my favourite new show this year, by far. It reminds me of how Bones started out 10 years back. It's funny in all the right places and serious in all the right places, plus the episodes have great flow. Jennifer Carpenter's character is also a lot more likable in Limitless in contrast to Deb in Dexter, and Jake McDorman plays his role perfectly. Seriously, love this show.
I have a few episodes ready to be watched before I kickoff on a marathon. I've heard mixed reviews on it though so I've been a bit hesitant. Will have to get onto it straight away and will let you know what I think.
Just finished this one and loved it. Although I'm not sure why all the sudden Rebecca (or Deb as I like to call her) is now suspicious of the senator, kinda seemed to come out of nowhere.
And how weird they had Quin from Dexter in the first season as her love interest as well. Looking forward to season two.
