Game of Thrones is an excellent show. It'll need at least 8 seasons to completely tell the story it aims to tell. As such, I cannot say I am excited that it has only been confirmed for 6. I am certainly pleased that HBO has enough faith to plan for a whole year ahead. But until it is given enough to tell a complete story, I will reserve my excitement.
Yes, very excited. I recently read that the books author told the tv writers how the books will end so that if he passes away before he finishes the books, the tv writers can still carry on with the intended story lines.
It certainly has short seasons, with only 13 or so episodes, but a lot of shows are doing this now. Personally, I don't care for it, but if it's either short seasons or no seasons, I'll take short every time. True Blood and The Walking Dead are the same, actually the first season of The Walking Dead was only 6 episodes long.
Never seen it. I read an article recently that rape was a big theme of the show. Is that so? If so, I'm definitely not interested' Probaly not a genre for my age group. Give me Call the Midwife any day. Now, tha had me excited when it returned.
