A series on the ABC called Forbidden Love examines the lives of people who take part in unconventional relationships - hence the name of the program.

Have you been watching it? If so, what are your thoughts on the series?

I watched the first one and found it quite interesting.

I agree with Vee on this one.

However only watched the first one.

I watched the 'married to a cross-dresser' one and bits of the 'cyber love' episode. I think the documentaries are very interesting, and like the way they rely heavily on first hand accounts. I do think they could have been a bit more balanced, in the sense that not many of the couples I saw spoke about personal difficulties or challenges they initially faced. But then, perhaps there was footage of this and I simply did not see it.

I don't have ABC, but I am all for unconventional relationships. I don't know why society should dictate how people should love one another.
Yes, I did watch it. It was a good series. I watch it on iview, so my husband can watch what he would like to watch, on the t.v. I think people are very brave talking about themselves like that. I always find documentaries very interesting.

Yes and thought it was unusual for the man who had a beard to cross-dress.
I would have thought he may have got rid of the beard as he looked so strange with the beard.
Without it I could have accepted his pleasure to want to cross-dress.

Farley, I have to agree. I did not understand his decision to hang on to his beard while cross-dressing.

I have watched some of the Series on ABC called Forbidden Love.
I recall the episode of the Cross Dresser who had the beard and thought it a little strange that the man who liked to cross Dress as a woman didn't shave his beard off.
I just thought it was a little more than Strange that he would keep the beard whilst wanting to dress like a Woman.
The Beard made him/her look so strange with the long earrings.
I just wonder what others thought about the Cross Dresser?
