This irritates me. Seeing a Christmas episode on television when it isn’t actually Christmas time is disappointing in the sense that I’m reminded how exciting Christmas can be and that it isn’t Christmas where I am. I concede it’s silly, but am just putting it out there.

I do not particularly like Christmas shows anyway, so yes, it really does annoy me to have it on during the year.

This does not happen a lot however, I still find it annoying and do not watch these generally unless it is something I really love to watch e.g. Seinfeld.

Yes, it does a bit. But then, I also find a lot of Christmas themed episodes annoying at Christmas time because it's hard to relate to all the stuff about snow and winter when it's the middle of summer here.
Good point, Jennifer!

I would find it odd if it happened, but it wouldn't bother me. I have yet to see it happen though.
The christmas B+B happens in March some time, it makes me so bored! I hate christmas episodes so having to put up with one in March is really irritating.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS!!!!
That's exactly what I was thinking.

We don't watch commercial TV, so we don't have the problem of boring American sit com Christmas shows. The ABC are better at considering viewer's needs.
Depends on the show - if it's a Doctor Who Christmas special for example there is an entertainment factor that expands beyond the event it's celebrating

YES!

I love the Series ''Days of our lives''.I don't watch it now.
But every year they would do it so well, and it was focused around certain members who had died in real life, and quite heart warming may I say.

They not only act it out, but lived it out in real feelings for cast members, and pity others didn't do as well.Christmas for 'Days' was and is about the audience living the show too.
Not at all - I love thinking about Christmas at any time of year!
Yes! Why bother airing programme post-XMAS? Dumbass tv networks!
LOL! I'm right there with you!

I have to snack while watching a film, otherwise I often end up biting my nails
