Web series have become a true phenomenon. And there are some great web shows out there. Series like The Guild and mini-series like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog are proving that this is a medium that works with audiences. Have you watched a web-series? Which ones?
If youíve never seen a web series, check out the guild below:
These are just shows that are only on Youtube or the like. They don't air on regular TV, but instead gain their own sponsors and run online only. Most episodes run 6 to 9 minutes, so they are pretty short, and they will have a season of maybe 10 episodes on average. So really, if you watch a web series, you can get through a season in just over an hour.
When Sanctuary started out as a web series, I began watching it, but then it moved to TV. I haven't watched any other series. I don't particularly like watching TV on my computer, unless I have to catch up on an episode I missed.
I was trying to find the Sanctuary web shows a little while back and couldn't find them anywhere. By the time I started watching the show, it was already a TV series. I wanted to see one of the pioneers in web TV, but no love. They just seem to have disappeared.
