Ziva is a pretty good character, but definitely not one of my favourites. I think she added an interesting cultural dimension to the show, which will be missed, but I can't say I will particularly miss the character.
Did you see the episode in Series I where Kate asked Gibbs 'who was Ducky before he was Dr Mallard'?
Quick as a whip, Gibbs replies 'Illya Kuryakin'. I just lost it; had to stop VHS tape, as was laughing SO much!
For those who'd NEVER seen 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E', it was 'lost' on them!
Most defintely I remember that line. And I fell in love with him when I first saw him on The Man from Uncle. (Not the first time around I'm old but not that old) but when it was repeated in the 80's. Then he came out to Australia for a play and I sort of 'Stalked' him. He was so nice though :)
No it is not as good but actually it hasn't been good for a long time before she went. It is going on too long it should end now while they are still ahead like all good shows do. NCIS L.A is my favoutite now. But mainly because of Linda Hunt, her character Hettie is brilliant.
Just wish some network would make DiNozzo an offer he couldn't refuse. Same goes for Deeks in NCIS:LAX. Can't stand either of them. Their roles are just soooo stupid, & bend the laws of reality to nth degree! BTW, pleased George Eads is leaving CSI. Another very annoying character, IMO.
Yeah I do not think it is as good without Ziva but basically it isn't as good because it has just been on for too long. But I really don't like the blond character they decided to put it. She has zero personality to me. And that NCIS New Orleans is just horrible. L.A is the best. Because it is basically a spy film every week.
