Do you think letting kids watch cartoon violence will make them think it is acceptable to be violent in society?

I don't think the cartoons themselves are the problem, but the fact that kids are allowed to spend hours every day sat in front of the TV instead of doing things in the real world, so they don't get to learn how to relate to others. The content shouldn't matter if there is a balance in their lives.
No, I don't think so.
I think some children are more susceptible to being influenced by cartoon violence than others - some can't distinguish pretend from reality - but in general, I don't think cartoon violence, such as The Looney Tunes, Tome & Jerry, etc, is a problem. Thousands of kids have watched and do watch these shows, and it does not affect their behaviour at all.
Absolutely!

Children see it...and act it out.
Its that simple.
It may not be much, but they have learnt something from watching violent cartoons or t.v.

It shows them 'how too'.
