Many game and quiz shows are now aired on TV live, and the audience gets to take part by answering the questions on an app. Two that come to mind right now are 'Five Gold Rings' and 'Don't Ask Me, Ask Britain '.

That is such an awesome idea! I haven't downloaded an app like this yet, but I can totally see myself doing it for a game show I liked.
It is something I would find fun doing, but I discover these programs halfway through, so it seems a bit pointless downloading an app for such a short period. I did, however, do so with 'Don't Ask Me, Ask Britain', just to see what it was like. It was quite satisfying to see my vote then go on to be part of the statistics results on TV just moments later.
