Stargate: Universe has a very different filming style to SG-1 and Atlantis. Do you like it, or wish they had stuck the traditional methods?

I hate what they did with the camera. The use of hand held and extreme close-ups is extremely off putting. You're focussing on the camera work rather than the story. It was one of the major reason I stopped watching.
I really like the old way.
It is one of my favourite ''to-watch'', but prefer the latter way of filming, by far!
'Why' try and change something....when it was just fine before?
I often wonder what is the thinking.....wait!!' .......there is non.
I loved the filming style of SGU. It felt like they were trying to go for the grit of Battlestar Galactica. Admittedly, there were times when it was a bit, being so shaky that you couldn't really tell what was going on, but I think it was supposed to mimic how you would feel and see things if you were there with them. It's not for everyone, but I liked it.
