In some households, the tv goes on first thing in the morning, even on school days. Does yours? And if possible, why or why not?

On the rare occasion that they are ready early enough to have some spare time to watch a show, I do. But that doesn't happen very often at my place because they take so long to get ready!
There's always a bit of tension in my house over this. The children like to watch TV, butI fond it slows them down. They're only allowed to watch if they eat their breakfast and get dressed, and on days when the TV impedes this, the next day they don't get to watch, until they are back up to speed again!
I use to let mine, if we were not running late...but more like as they got dressed for school.
No sitting down, and in deep viewing kind of thing.
More like on in the background.
I don't have kids, but if I did, I would let them watch TV before school because I think it helps them relax before class. I used to watch TV before going to school.
When I was working and had to leave before 7, I'd put the tv on for my son while he ate breakfast and I jumped into the shower...now the first thing they do is go and turn it on...bad, bad mumma!
I actually had a schedule growing up when it came to morning TV which I imposed myself. There were two shows I liked to watch before school, so I knew I had to be ready before they started, so I wouldn't be able to watch them.
I wouldn't know.. I mean not yet.. but personally I do watch some TV before I drive out
Not at that stage yet, so will cross the bridge when we get there. However, as children we were not allowed to watch television before school, and I think it was better that way. Television can be a distraction at the best of times, let alone when you're trying to get everyone dressed, fed, organised and out of the house in record time!
