Jenny Lee has had her ups and downs with men during this series, some of which she has brought on her own head, I think. However, I found this episode to be a real tear jearker. There was not a dry eye in the house

Yes, that one brought tears to my eyes. I love that show.
I only see the show every now and then, so was not aware that he died. I am not invested enough in the characters for it to bother me.
I've not see this show, and only heard of it when Top Gear mentioned they were struggling to rate against it...
Yes, defintely cried. I love this show with its window into 60s east London and it's great feel for humanity.
Then I'll bet you cried in other episodes as well. I have.
