We rewatch Arrested Development over and over, but you don't need to watch it from season one to season three - you can pick epidoses here and there.

My partner wants to start watching the Sopranos again. I'm hesitant as it's 6 months worth of viewing (7 years worth of seasons).

Do you deicide to rewatch whole series?

I have only rewatched Friends and Seinfeld. I think I could only do it with comedies. I loved Sopranos but I don't think I could rewatched it, I still remember what happened all too well.
That's kind of how I feel, though I rewatch a gazillion repeats of Law & Order - but it's the commitment to the whole series in chronological order that I baulk at...
I wouldn't do it with a mystery show where the surprises would be spoiled, but some shows I can happily watch over and over. I have seen Black Books several times and it still cracks me up. My husband and I have rewatched Firefly and Farscape after a bit of time had passed and we'd forgotten some of it. We also recently rewatched the first season of the X Files and it was interesting to see how well it had aged after nearly twenty years. I also sometimes use shows I have already watched to practice my German (switching the language over on the DVD). It's easier to follow if I've seen it before so I can pick up more of the language.
Yeah. I think I could watch Heroes again if I had it on DVD.
Yes, I have and I could do it again. 'Friends', 'Prison Break', 'The Nanny' and the BBC's 'Pride and Prejudice.
