These days it's rare to find a household that consciously chooses to live without television. About twenty years ago my husband and I gave it a spin, much to the bewilderment and even horror of some of our nosy family and acquaintances. We found it was an interesting experience and enjoyed spending more of our time in nature, creative pursuits, conversation and other things we enjoy. In fact, we found it so liberating that, even though we did go on to purchase one a few years later, we rarely watch it.
Do you think you could, or would, live without television? If so, why or why not?

#Question A few years ago when I had lots of shows that I liked to watch, then I would have struggled without a TV, but now there is not so much on, I think I could live without it.
Then again, no Great British Bake Off? No Strictly Come Dancing? Unthinkable. There are also lots of DVDs I like to watch. So perhaps not. Depends if 'no TV' includes watching shows online and watching home media.
