Katie at http://tenplay.com.au

Despite the history between her sister, Brooke and her ex-husband/husband-to-be, Bill, Katie asked Brooke to be her matron of honour at her wedding.

Was Katie asking for trouble when she requested that Brooke stand up for her and Bill? Should she have asked Donna instead?

Yes, it would have been simples to have asked Donna!
But being simpler, does not sell, I guess.

Everyone marries, divorces, marries again, so simple does not really enter into the equation in this show!

I agree with you, Finy. Simpler does not sell. However, I still think Katie was very insensitive and naive to think that Brooke is over Bill and/or would be ok to stand up for the two of them at their second wedding. Come on Katie - she said she was in love with him, and now you want her to watch him marry another woman - her sister no less. I mean, Brooke is pretty pathetic, but you can't help but feel bad for her and her weepy eye.
