Rick knows Ridge can't draw and his first act upon finding out is to terminate Ridge's employment at Forrester Creations.

Did Rick overreact to the news Ridge has lost his ability to put pen to paper? Was his reaction justified?

Yes, I agree with you on this one Vee, he definitely did overact -though I did miss a few episodes.
It sometimes happens that Ridge's ability is lost -in fact I can remember several times over the 20 years that this has happened and amazingly, it always seems to come back -they really need a new "line"!!

Hahaha, I didn't realise this has happened before. Wow, they really do need new material. It will be interesting to see what happens next, especially after Caroline's dream about Ridge! Haha.

No. Ridge was being deceiptful and expected Caroline to do the same, even to her husband.
I agree that Ridge should not have expected Caroline to lie for him, but I think that Rick could've handled himself better.
