I didn't even know there was such a thing as the winter olympics until this year. I didn't was the London Olympics, so I won't be watching this either. I saw bits of the opening ceremony on the news, like the part where one of the olympic rings wouldn't open.
So do I - the athletes are way more entertaining, and you can watch any event and after about 4 laps, you're an expert. I hear myself saying "oh, no, he didn't get enough amplitude on that one" as if I have a clue....heehee. And who doesn't love snowboard cross??!!
Didn't watch opening ceremony but will have the tv on in the background most of the day - I love the Winter Olympics. Watched mens Downhill last night...and a bit of the womens mogels (just watching hurts my knees!)
I usually watch the Winter Olympics. I love, love, love figure skating. However, I disagree strongly with the way LGBT rights are being handled in Russia, so I've decided that this year I won't watch. It's a small way to make a stand, but to me it is important.
I don't know when theyíre starting, but Iíll watch it if itís not shown past my bedtime, or if my friend & I arenít walking the following morning! They may have day time repeats. I did watch the last ones, which I enjoyed, even though Iím NOT a sporty person. but I donít like to see people falling down & hurting them selves. Miro Taylor
